We used Red Mountain Landscaping for a new backyard design and installation. We were SO lucky to have found Red Mountain Landscaping! John came out to do an estimate. From the beginning, you can tell he is a landscape EXPERT, with tremendous knowledge and style. We knew we HAD to have this company complete our backyard. John listened to our ideas carefully, and whipped up a quick sketch. He thoughtfully captured all of our desires. John had a great grasp on what we wanted, and still guided us in a direction that would be wise for Arizona landscaping. John sent the quote via email. We dreamt big for our backyard; as we expected, the quote was slightly over budget. I expressed to John how we really wanted to work with him and were working on cutting some items out. He spent great deal of time trying to help us cut things out, or explaining different materials that would be a cheaper alternative. John was so kind and patient throughout this phase. I never felt like he was annoyed with the budget. I only felt like he wanted to make sure we loved our backyard, and that it was at a price we could afford. Once we agreed on the work to be done, John and his crew showed up the following week to begin. I stay at home so I was able to watch most of the process. This crew does a FABULOUS job and is absolutely meticulous with their prep. They really take their time to get the job done right. John was present every day in the morning (and sometimes throughout the day). I was able to talk to him, ask him questions, or make small changes/requests. John and the crew were so accommodating with various changes. They left the backyard very clean at the end of each day. I loved working with this company. The whole process had so much more personality than most landscape companies. Throughout the project, John spent a great deal of time with us—listening and educating. While we had a plan in place, if I saw something I didn’t love, he was super flexible. John was always quickly available via text for advice and recommendations, or to answer any questions I had while I was at the nursery looking for plants I like. My only regret is that I didn’t know to call Red Mountain to do my front yard a couple months ago. If you want a personable experience with your yard, call Red Mountain!
