Herman E. 'Pete' Ables, 87, passed peacefully to heaven from his home in Phoenix, Arizona, on September 27, 2023, following a brief illness.Pete was born in Kona, KY, but spent his childhood in Soddy Daisy, leaving at the age of 20 to enlist in the Air Force. After his discharge, he followed employment through Texas, Georgia and Florida, but after settling in Arizona, had spent more recent years developing and partnering in a major nationwide liquidation enterprise. He was a professing Christian.
